About
Someone who still asks, what if?
A husband, a dad, a basketball fan. I'm Earl, and I turn complex problems into useful products.
Family is at the center of my life. I love basketball, exploring new ideas, and seeing what happens when curiosity turns into something tangible. That curiosity connects my work across mobile experiences, enterprise platforms, and the products I build on my own.
Founder first
I started as a founder. From 2013 to 2018 I ran GoBabl, a location-based engagement company for brands, and I was its product manager and business analyst at the same time. We built a geofencing platform and social monitoring tools, and GoBabl was named a Location of Things Market Leader by MarketsandMarkets. Wearing every hat taught me to start with what a customer will actually pay for, and to measure it.
Then, at scale
Since then I've led product on consumer apps and enterprise platforms: live streaming and social at The Meet Group, data products at Jornaya, the business platform at Comcast Business, the HUB App at Carnival, the MyAT&T App at AT&T, and the mobile platform at The Home Depot. The work page has every role and thecase studies show how the decisions were made.
Still building
I build my own products with AI tools, because the fastest way to understand what AI changes about product work is to do the work. GovHub is live, Nurtrd is on its way, and this site is the third.
Atlanta
I live and work in Atlanta, and I'm open to senior product, product strategy, and AI product roles, plus advisory work.
How I label the numbers
A skeptical reader should be able to trust every number here. So each one says what kind of number it is, and the screenshots come only from public, released products, with personal details blurred. Anything I could not show, I drew as a diagram instead.
How to read the numbers
Every number on this site carries one of four labels, so you can tell a measured result from a goal. Company context, like audience size, only appears as Public with the source linked.
- Public
- Published by the company or a credible third party. The source is linked.
- Reported
- My own measured result, as stated on my résumé. The case study describes the method.
- Directional
- An observed trend without a clean baseline.
- Target
- A proposed success measure, not a result.
